So, if a tree falls in a forest and no one is around to hear it, does it make a sound? Well something like that is with your amazing t shirts, people need to know they exist, otherwise no one is going to buy them no matter how cool they are.
So in order to people let people know your designs are there you need to find ways to bring those designs to their attention, now there is many basic stuff you need to do in first place like meta tags and descriptions, all those covered in the “getting your store noticed” section. But once all that is done there is many thing you can do to stay ahead of the game, and in this case there is no “less is more” here “more is more” and there is never too much of it. Here are some of the things that might help you spread the word.
Open a Facebook / Twitter or other social media (or all of them if you like): these are great venues to have your products out there, not only you can post your stuff but also can have feedback from your supporters/fans, even if there are only your friend at the beginning they will help you spread the word, also they will know when a new product is available since they will receive notification or see it on a news feed.
Participate in Forums: but please don’t spam forums with cheap propaganda, nothing is more hated in a forum that a fake user posting crap in the middle of conversations. If you are going to do it please do it seriously, create a user in forums of your interest, maybe drawing or art forums and participate actively, keep in mid that some of these forums have thousands of users and you never know who might just see your comments. Just make sure that your signature has a link back to your store or blog, you can also put some of your artwork as a picture or avatar, that way you are showing your stuff without asphyxiating anybody and if someone is interested they will follow the link.
Online Marketplace: besides your online store there are many places where you can post your stuff for free, kind of like a classified section on the papers. Some of these places even link you stuff to other social media marketplaces (like Facebook, for example) so by creating an account and posting your stuff in a couple of online marketplaces your designs a being exposed to a lot of people. Probably a lot more than the traffic you got by just using your online store.
